The goal of our program is to provide maximum opportunities for the child to develop their potential: social, emotional, physical, aesthetic and intellectual. Our program is based primarily on play oriented activities. During Centre Time children choose from arts and crafts, water or sand table or playdough, puzzles, book corner and floor toys such as vehicles, dolls, kitchen, building toys, puppets or dress-up. Activities rotate with our monthly themes. We join together for circle times, snack, singing, gym or outdoor activities.

Classes are 3 hours from 8:45AM – 11:45AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We are a play-based program so classes are given ample time to play within a structured environment. Gym Time: We are lucky to have daily access to the school gym where the students use many different kinds of equipment.

Craft Time: Crafts encourage fine motor development and language skills during this small group activity engagement.

In some years the two day program is generally attended by younger students (3 years old). Students are introduced gently to table work and can use journals to practice simple pre-printing skills. The journals are enjoyable because they meet each student where they are and encourage them on next steps in strengthening their fine motor skills.

The two and three program both strive to meet each child where they are, either class will offer your preschooler (3 or 4 year olds) what they need to be ready for kindergarten when it’s time.
